Author Bios:
Alexis Brooks de Vita is a literature professor and author of The 1855 Murder Case of Missouri versus Celia, an Enslaved Woman, Mythatypes: Signatures and Signs of African, Diaspora and Black Goddesses, the translation Dante’s Inferno: A Wanderer in Hell, the novels Left Hand of the Moon, Burning Streams, Blood of Angels, and Chain Dance, and contributing editor of the collections Tales in Firelight and Shadow and Love and Darker Passions.
Abigail Teed is a Canadian writer who spends her days carving “Who shot JR” moments in technical courses while writing fiction and political satire by night. She lives in a tiny house in the woods on the outskirts of Saint John, New Brunswick, where she splits her time between working, writing, and cuddling her grandchildren.
Yohanca Delgado is an assistant fiction editor at Barrelhouse and lives in Maryland. She is a graduate of American University’s MFA program and her fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in A Public Space, One Story, and Nightmare, among other publications .
