Online Adult Story Time with David James Poissant and Davon Loeb

Join us for the eleventh reading in our Adult Story Time reading series! This series will feature a multitude of short story writers from many different genres reading one of their stories in its entirety then doing a Q and A. All readings will take place through Zoom. David James Poissant and Davon Loeb will be our readers for our eleventh Online Adult Story Time Series!

Bios:

David James Poissant is the author of the novel Lake Life (Simon & Schuster, 2020), a New York Times Editors’ Choice selection, and The Heaven of Animals: Stories, a finalist for the L.A. Times Book Prize. He teaches in the MFA program at the University of Central Florida.

Davon Loeb is the author of the lyrical memoir The In-Betweens (Everytime Press, 2018). He earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers-Camden, and he is an assistant poetry editor at Bending Genres and a guest prose editor at Apiary Magazine. His work has been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes and one Best of the Net, and is forthcoming and featured in Ploughshares Blog, PANK Magazine, University of Nebraska Press, Pithead Chapel, Barren Magazine, Split Lip Magazine, and elsewhere. Besides writing, Davon is a high school English teacher, husband, and father living in New Jersey. Currently, he is writing a YA novel.
