Deed Notes
Mark Higgins and Judah Higgins both were mariners, and siblings. Father was Samuel Higgins. One part of the property sold was one half of the dwelling house, barn and corn (? spelling) house that their father "died seized of." The other half of the dwelling house was owned by Judah Higgins. Also sold was 1/3 of all land, woodland and orchards their father Samuel Higgins "died seized of." The other 2/3 was owned by Mark and Judah Higgins, and was reserved for the improvement of their mother, Patience Higgins during her lifetime as her right of dower. Polly Eldredge signed her name on the deed under that of Mark Higgins. Their relationship is not specified.
