Deed Notes

The meadow sold, near Sampson's Island flat, and near Hog Island creek was 2/3 of the 25th lot and was laid out in 1803/1703. The document is written with the 1803 date, but another hand has marked a seven over the eight to change it. Time when this was done is unknown. The writing is unclear, but the history of property includes reference to the Town of Eastham, and the land of L (?) Joseph Rogers and Giles (?) Hopkins. The property is bounded by the meadow of James Rogers.
